How to Check if a Supplier is Self-Hosted in OneSource

  • Updated
  1. Go to portal.onesource.com and sign in to your OneSource account

  2. Once logged in, find the supplier's company name under the Supplier Services section (You can use the search bar or scroll through the list)

  3. Click the plus icon to the left of the supplier's company name to expand their available services
  4. With the supplier's services expanded, you'll see a column for "Origin".
The origin shows where the supplier's endpoint is hosted:

    • If Origin is "DistributorCentral"
      • data in OneSource comes from DC)

    • If Origin is "OneSource"
      • data is pushed by the supplier to OneSource via API. DC then consumes this data from OneSource

    • If Origin is "External"
      • OneSource gets data directly from the supplier's PromoStandards endpoints
        • If the supplier's endpoint origin is "External", its best to connect with the supplier regarding issues with their data.
